ABOUT THE SECURE ENERGY PROJECT

The Secure Energy Project (SEP) in collaboration Vote for Climate Nigeria aims to fast-track and secure the transition to clean energy. We identify key obstacles and develop innovative, collaborative campaigns to address them. We bring together a wide range of allies, from grassroots organisations to international levels, to influence the narrative and politics surrounding energy.
The energy transition presents an opportunity to improve everything. It provides cheaper electricity, generates new jobs, cuts pollution, and connects communities that have long been overlooked. Yet, despite its many advantages, the shift away from fossil fuels remains slow and susceptible to misinformation and setbacks.
Now entering our third year, SEP is leading global communications efforts, coordinating campaign coalitions, and launching audience-led interventions in key countries. We’re helping the climate movement fight smarter, faster, and together.
